"Humbled By His Grace & Mercy"

Arthur Nhau, LTLA Director in Chinhoyi, provides the following update on what God is doing through LTLA:

We are really humbled by the relationships that God continues to entrust us with here in Chinhoyi. I have been meeting with 3 young men who are showing a deep desire to walk with the Lord; namely Vedra, Milton and Andrew. These are first year students at Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT). We pray that through Christ Jesus Vedra, Milton and Andrew may be built up as a dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.

We also pray 2 Tim 2:2 for the four key guys whom I have been discipling for some time: Shelton, Simba, Zviko and Tatenda. Zviko is now in his final year at CUT. We pray after Zviko graduates he will stay connected with our ministry and continue developing a heart for people.

Simba has been with us in Chinhoyi this past month while on break from Harare Polytechnic. Upon his return to college, he desires to share Christ with his classmates and invite them into Bible study. We pray for Simba's ministry efforts at college and that God may give him reliable men who will in turn teach others.

Shelton and Tatenda are part of our discipleship team here in Chinhoyi. We pray that Christ will continue to be the center of their lives (Shelton & Tatenda) and that out of their contacts, God would raise up men who want to change the world for Christ.

My wife Mildred is doing well, always encouraged to serve in any way possible. Pray that Mildred will continue to be a light to many.

We had an Easter conference for the youth in our ministry. We are really encouraged to see the confidence God is giving Tatenda and Marvelous who spoke of what Christ did for us. It was also encouraging to see the youth enjoying learning about the meaning of Easter, the Lord's great love for us, and not only because it is a holiday.

At CUT this semester we are relating with a lot of first year students. We have a weekly Bible study on Wednesday afternoons and then meet with them individually during the week. We pray that the Lord would open the hearts of these CUT students to respond to our message.

As a ministry, we continue to pray for unity and to see Acts 4:32 in action for the LTLA team.

We pray as we enter into winter for the malnourished children we assist at our Critical Care Center. May God keep these young ones warm and give their guardians a caring heart.

As a nation we head towards elections in July, so we continue to look up to God for a God fearing leader. The rains came late this season so some of the families we serve did not fare well in their farming efforts. We are grateful, however, for the harvest the Lord has provided.

The initiative to empower people through the Foundations For Farming program has really improved the situation for most of the families under our care. They have been experiencing improved yields as they are taught to farm "God's way." We are really thankful that the farmers who initiated this program are believers and their influence is now penetrating even our government.

As a family we are always humbled by His grace and mercies everyday. Pray for our children, Donnell and Daisy, that they may continue to grow not only in stature but also in wisdom.

Blessings,
Arthur & Mildred Nhau
